Today 24th July 2024 marks a significant milestone as the Honorable Vice Chancellor of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU) Larkana, Prof. Dr. Nusrat Shah, and the CEO of Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO), Mr. Muhammad Dittal Kalhoro, formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The ceremony, held in the witness of Mr. Asif Ali Khuhro, Chief Financial Officer, SRSO, and Dr. Mir Hassan Khoso, Director ORIC & Research, SMBBMU Larkana, symbolizes a strategic alliance to foster a cooperative relationship between the two esteemed institutions. 

This MoU lays the foundation for joint research initiatives, including collaborative projects on rural development, women's empowerment, social entrepreneurship, and community health initiatives. Both SMBBMU and SRSO will prioritize research projects that address global challenges, foster innovation, and align with sustainable development goals, thereby enhancing the impact and reach of their collaborative efforts. 

Mr. Dittal Kalhoro commended the Honorable Vice Chancellor for her remarkable achievements in rapidly transforming the university. During the signing ceremony, the Vice Chancellor expressed gratitude for SRSO's collaborative approach, underscoring the vital importance of such alliances in promoting regional growth. The CEO of SRSO, along with his team, engaged in discussions highlighting the crucial role that rural development plays in advancing the economic prosperity of the region. The discussions underscored the shared commitment of both institutions to leverage their collective expertise and resources for the betterment of rural communities.

The event was graced by the presence of the Registrar, Dean of Dentistry, Dean Basic Medical Sciences, Principal Chandka Medical College Larkana, Director ORIC & Research and Principal BCON further reflecting the strong support and enthusiasm for this landmark collaboration.
