Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University, Larkana organised a Condolence Meeting to pay tribute to Prof Dr. Bilquis Malik on Friday, 11 August 2023 at the Chandka Medical College, Larkana. The Meeting was attended by Dr. Bilquis Malik’s daughter, her close associates, alumni of Chandka Medical College, faculty members, students, officers, and staff members of the university.
The vice chancellor of SMBBMU Dr Nusrat announced that four girls' hostels have been named Prof Bilquis Malik Enclave. She proposed the name of Teaching Hospital CMC may be kept as prof Bilquis Malik Teaching Hospital
Further, she suggested that we can recommend to Syndicate that the name of the new digital Library at Chandka Medical College which is expected to be completed by next year can also be kept as Prof Bilquis Malik Digital Library
