In a landmark moment of international collaboration, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU), Larkana, Pakistan and Idlib University, Syria, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today, 15th November 2023. The virtual ceremony took place at the Syndicate Hall, SMBB Medical University Larkana.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by vice chancellor Prof Nusrat Shah, Dean Medicine & Allied Sciences Prof. Dr. Alam Ibrahim Siddiqui, Dean Surgical & Allied Sciences Prof. Gulzar Ahmed Shaikh, Dean Basic Science Prof. Amar Lal Gurbakhshani, Dean Community & Public Health Prof. Dr. Qararo Shah, Director of the Institute of Pharmacy Prof Abdul Rauf, Director ORIC and Research Dr Mir Hassan Khoso and Director of QEC, Mr. Altamash Sheeraz signed the MoU with the President Prof. Dr. Abdul Hamid Alkhali, Idlib University, Syria, along with his team Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alkateb, Dean of Medicine, Dr. Abdul Manem, Dean of Pharmacy, Dr. Hussam Ismael, Dean of Dentistry, Prof. Nassan Ahmed, Dean of Health Sciences and Director Research Dr. Mustafa Kayyali.
This collaborative effort signifies a remarkable step toward fostering international academic and research cooperation between SMBB Medical University Larkana and Idlib University, Syria.
