The 12th  Sports Week was Organized by University for all its constituent colleges at the Gymnasium Hall for indoor games and a stadium for our-door games, the games include Badminton, Snooker, Ludo, Chess, Musical Chair, Tug of War, Cricket, Volley, and other interesting games. The event was Organized by Dr. Fahad Jibran Siyal and inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University, Prof. Dr. Nusrat Shah by cutting the ribbon of Sports Week at Gymnasium Hall. All the participants expressed great enthusiasm and passion. Sports Week features sports competitions amongst all the constituent Colleges.

All the faculty and students from constituent colleges attended the opening ceremony of Sports Week. The students participated from Chandka Medical College (CMC), Bibi Aseefa Dental College (BADC), Benazir College of Nursing (BCON), Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences (IPRS), and Institute of Pharmacy. The Vice Chancellor said every student should participate in their favorite sport because it is crucial for health, along with studies, physical games and activities are equally important for living a healthy life not just physical health but also for mental social health, she said, we encourage and promote such activities for both boys and girls students with equal participation and zero gender discrimination to participate in every game. Sports and Physical activity is also important for character building, as they learn tolerance, patience, & acceptance, and would learn how to be happy.  She further said, sports are not merely for winning only, it teaches how to lose greacefully and makes us learn how to handle it positively with a sportsman spirit that needs to be built in one's character.

 Principal Chandka Medical College Professor Dr. Zameer Ahmed Soomro said that we are organizing various activities during Sports Week, As cricket, badminton, football, table tennis, ludo, tug of war, chess and other games will be played, these activities will boost the sportsman spirit in the children, Principal Bibi Aseefa Dental College Professor Dr. Yusuf Shah said, at the same time curricular activities are going on in the university and sports are being organized at the same time, Director Physiotherapy Dr. Mukesh Kumar, Administrative Officer Ahmed Bux Dhani also addressed the inaugural function, Director Sports Dr. Fahad Jibran, Vice Principal BADC College Prof. Dr. Saleem Khawar, Director Planning & Development Zahid Hussain Dharejo, Chief Librarian Mumtaz Buriro, Director QEC Altamash Sheeraz, Chief Security Officer Sultan Ahmad Bhutto, other officers, faculty and a large number of students were present in the ceremony.
